Quaint

Nice hair today.  Very easy too.  Seriously, I showered, wrapped it in a towel, and went to bed (with the towel on).  Halfway through the night, the towel fell off (I remember this happening, even though I was asleep).  I also flattened my bangs down a little when the towel fell off (I also remember this xD).  When I woke up the next day, I put on a hat. Voilá!

soft pink bunny cami : hand-me-down from Ima
green sparrow tunic : hand-me-down from Ima
blue long sleeved shit : Goodwill
army green hooded jacket : Targét
pink and green arm warmers : Etsy
green knit hat : hand-me-down from my step mom
denim booty shorts : hand-me-down from a friend
floral tights : Targét
tall gray socks : hand-me-down from Ima
tan cowboy boots : hand-me-down from Ima

Wow, seriously all second-hand or from Target.  Nice.  And special trick for the boots, one of which digs into my ankle rather uncomfortably.  Ace bandage.  Yep :)

American Army

I didn't realize until just now how patriotically militia this outfit is.  Red, white and blue, with a 60s-draft looking button up and combat-esque boots?

red star hair clips : ancient
white shirt with blue and yellow flowers : Goodwill
green army-ish shirt : Goodwill
blue plaid handkerchief skirt : Etsy
white long underwear leggings : Goodwill
brown soft leather boots : eBay
blue hair flower clip : Hobby Lobby

Lazy

This would be perfect for anyone going for that "just slept over at the boyfriend's--gimme my coffee" look.  Ew, I hate coffee.  Although to make it even better, add maybe a classy necklace or earrings (diamond or pearls).  That way it looks like you just came from some snazzy soirée or something ;-)

blue and white stripped button up shirt : Goodwill
gray Swell Seasons band tee : Swell Seasons concert I went to in Columbus with my Dad for my birthday
ripped blue jeans : older than you.  well probably not.

Sun, Moon, Stars, and Curls

Kind of self-explanatory.  The sleep shirt came from Goodwill :P

For styling of the hair, I took air-dryed, unbrushed hair and loosely and lazily used a regular curling iron on its highest setting.  My hair is too thick for anything lower...haha

Goodwill Spree

On my honor, I promise that everything (except the wig, goggles, and boots) came from Goodwill.  The wig came from either Kroger or Walgreens, circa Halloween season, and the goggles and boots came from eBay.

Aw, now I can't do my usual breakdown.  :(  Oh, but all the clothes I'm stepping on are also from Goodwill :) :)

What's black and white and red all over?

This is a lazy outfit.  Most of my dressy things are lazy.  It's just so easy!

red off-the-shoulder top : Goodwill
black and white spotted skirt : Goodwill
black patterned tights : somewhere....
cameo necklace : Valley Thrift

Once, I went to a bat mitzvah in this shirt.  There, I was complimented highly on it.  The elderly woman was quite surprised, and full of disbelief, when I said it came from Goodwill.  Recently I just bought about $200-worth of business clothes from Goodwill, for about $40.  Yup... :)

Jorge Goes Israeli

While his ability to pose for a picture are just as horrendous as mine, Jorge really pulls off this simple Mediterranean ensemble.  (Dude, I just spelled Mediterranean right on the first try for the first time...excellent...)

white polo : who knows
white bukhari yarmulke : probably Aba's High Holy Days kippah
generic denim jeans : no idea

Progression of a Braided Bun

Epic.  Well.  Not really.  But nonetheless.  If you'll recall, my hair is still split into two different portions.  The upper half is short, perhaps chin-length.  The lower half is long, just past my collar bone.  Here I separated the two parts, and pinned up the short half.  I braided the long half to the side, and secured it with a cute yellow hairband.  Next, I made a messy bun out of the short half, and wrapped the braid around it, securing the whole thing with bobby pins.

It lasted about 10, 11 hours.  Overall?  A success!

Leopard Fishnet

It's been a while, but in the grand scheme of things nobody will notice ;-)

Anyway, this ensemble is perfect for those 40, 50 degree weather days.  Not quite ready to get rid of the coat, but warm enough to go out in a skirt.

green scoop neck hoodie : Goodwill
dolphin hippie dress : hand-me-down from Ima
denim booty shorts : hand-me-down from a friend
turquoise leopard tights : Targét
hot pink fishnet tights : Hot Topic
blue low-ankle girlfriend shoes : W*****t

I made sure to get a picture of the dolphin on the back of my dress :)  And more braids!  Actually my hair looks pretty awkward.  It's probably the end of the day.  I don't remember.

"weird russian shoes"

Honestly, I've no idea what possessed me to Google this at 6:50 in the morning, but as it happens, I did an image search on "weird russian shoes".

This is what I found:  Scoots and Paws

And those are just the second and third hits!  Scrolling down a bit, I found this little gem...

Elephant Dung   ((I promise, there's no ACTUAL dung...I THINK...))

But this is the real prize.  My personal favorite is the fifth up from the bottom (the one with the B that looks like it's been shooped).  Words cannot describe the mad ingenuity that created this.

Envy Adams

Okay so definitely not as awesome as my Ramona Flowers look-a-like, but fun nonetheless.
