Too many clothes, too little closet

I've been running up against a little problem for a few years now.  I have a lot of clothes.  A lot of clothes, and a lot of shoes.  The thing is, I can't bear to part with any of them.  About a year ago, the metal rod in my closet broke, just on the end.  I was able to shift it down a bit to get it to hang properly again, but ever since I've had to be careful about what I hang and where I hang it.  I also had a major shoe problem.  I have about 70 pairs of shoes.  Up until a couple of days ago, they were just heaped on half of my closet floor (the other half being taken up by costumes and coats and what-have-you).  Then, as I was perusing my brother's closet for pants' hangers, I saw these two white shoe rack-things.  They have completely revolutionized the way I organize my closet.  My shoes are no longer getting smashed around, and I NEVER have to hunt for the other shoe.  This makes dashing out the door when I'm late for school easier than ever before.
The other life-changing item that I found was a clothing rack.  I actually started by looking online--the "cheap" ones I found online ranged anywhere from $40-$150.  Unfortunately, I simply don't have the funds to put out for that kind of thing.  Then, by a happy occasion, I happened to be at W******t the other day, and I thought to look for one.  $10!!  Amazing!  Just $10, and now I have so much more closet space.  I also hung my black tees on an iron lamp.  Unfortunately, the rack sways around a bit, but the connections seem solid enough, and it gets the job done.  If it breaks, I can either eat the $10 loss or go back to W******t and tell them their rack is a piece of sh*t.

On a side note--recognize any of the clothes?  Feast your eyes on the VERY same clothes featured in this blog.  Well of course they're the same clothes.  They're MY clothes.  What a perfectly wonderful topic as my 100th blog!
