I'm so stoked, I got a new piece of furniture (check out the next post).  Well, it's new to me.  Yet another hand-me-down from Ima...ha ha
Anyway, Ima purged her room again and I wound up with these awesome steampunk-y handwarmers.  I've kind of overdosed on them this week.

Another one of those country things..

Bandana + cowboy boots = ace.
Yeah so I have two pairs of cowboy boots--both hand-me-downs, and both a size or two too big.  The right boot on this pair actually hurts around the ankle area, I guess because my ankle bone hits at the wrong spot or something.  Otherwise, very nice boots.

I actually really like this outfit...the socks are sooo thick and warm.  If I stretched them out all the way, they would at least reach the bottom of my skirt.  Also, they are quite hard to get on...

The things you find at Goodwill!  This is the second of three amazing blazers that I found there, all on the same trip!  Three fantastic, professional jackets for UNDER $20.  Amazing.  I mean really.  Just look at it.

This lovely pink number from Goodwill, when paired with a few pearls, creates a very classic look.  Add a modest skirt and mature scarf, and one is quite ready to face the brutal cold and raging winds.

Some things from the Winter...

In order...the pink scarf is a gift from my cousins on my stepmom's side.  It has rainbow colors woven through it--very cute!  The scarf looks kind of purple in this lighting...but I promise it really is pink.  I actually rarely buy pink things for myself, so I am grateful to them for having bought it.

The pink floral dress and silk-and-bead mules are both from eBay (different sellers, of course).  The dress is very comfy, although rather vertically challenged.  This is easily rectified by pairing it with some leggings or jeans.  It is, however, a classic example of inconsistent detailing.  I bought it because it looked red in the picture...and so I expected a red dress.  Not a hot pink dress.

Cram Session

I tried to get better shots of the opal, really I did.  Perhaps with my real camera.  Webcams can be so finicky.

Notice the long skirt.  It's my cold weather staple!
